Logline
A good logline typically includes (or implies):
- Protagonist: Who is the main character?
- Inciting incident: What sets the story in motion?
- Goal: What does the protagonist want?
- Conflict: What obstacles stand in the way of achieving that goal?
- Stakes: What happens if the protagonist fails?
- Urgency: Why does the protagonist need to take action now?
It should be a single sentence, often no longer than thirty words.
